As specialists in dangerous goods, safety always comes first for us. All transports are constantly monitored and all processes are documented and continuously enhanced. Our safety culture is truly international and goes beyond the safeguards required by law. If a problem does occur despite all our safety precautions, our emergency management team are ready to intervene 24/7.
Rail Safety Days
Safety comes first, which is why DB Cargo BTT has developed a concept unique in the industry. At our regular Rail Safety Days, we bring together as many stakeholders and experts as possible from across our customers and partners to discuss the safe transport of dangerous goods and share the latest information. The Rail Safety Days also include training and practical exercises for staff from all our stakeholders, covering technology, risk prevention and procedures to follow when incidents occur.
Certified expertise in dangerous goods
As safety is our top priority, we actively participate in the SQAS program (SQAS = Safety and Quality Assessment) of the European Chemical Industry Council (CEFIC) in several European countries and are certified accordingly. In addition, our high safety standards are confirmed by ISO 9001 certification.
